A tropical edition of the Mirror Box

We've just released a new edition of the Mirror Box. It's completely tropical, with the illusion of reflecting emerald water. It has eight skies to choose from, and is accompanied by mesh islands and beaches, palm trees, some rocks, a wind turbine ad some buoys. These objects were designed to enhance the mirror effect of the Tropical box.



Like the first edition of the Mirror Box, this edition comes in 10 sizes between 32x32 m (for 1024 m2 premium parcels) and 1x1 km, for complete island regions.



You can get free demos and the real version here. When you arrive, you will see a setup with the 256x256 m mirror box.




This new edition is not an update to the previous Mirror Box.

After several months of work I've finally finished the first six landscapes of a completely new type. I call them Solid Sky Landscapes. New release: the Summer mirror box (cubic and rectangular)

Today I'm releasing a new mirror box with 50 new non-Winter scenes. This mirror box is available in a cubic end a rectangular shape. For creating the scenes (all done inside Second Life, using my own creations) I've mostly used my latest Mega sim surrounds as a backdrop: Alpine Ridge, Mount Fuji, Cuesta Galore and Tarn Valley. There are Spring, Summer and Autumn scenes. Most are daytime and sunset scenes, and some are nighttime scenes. Just go through them to see what you like. These new Summer boxes make use of Experience tools to automatically let you and your friends enjoy environment settings that match the current scene. You should switch this feature on in the Options menu of the mirror box, allow the "Mirror and Backdrop Box Environment Settings" on your land/region and you should enable the Use Shared Environment option in your viewer.  When you click through all scenes your settings will change accordingly. Version 6 Sim Surrounds now in Sky edition

By the end of 2016 I finished a new set of sim surround landscapes (version 6.0). These landscapes are now available in a sky edition, in three sizes: Large (1x1 km), Medium (250x250 m) and Small (125x125 m). Sweetwater Valley - Autumn Tropcal Paradise It took quite some time to develop these, especially because the new type of water that I wanted to use ( see also this blogpost ) required  lots of changes in several landscape and HUD scripts. This is also why the HUD was updated to version 6.1: previous HUD's won't work on these sky landscapes.
