Sim Surround Islands: second set

Tropical island environments are very popular in Second Life. Many people want to sit on a comfortable chair or lie down on a towel on a white sandy beach. Most tropical islands are surrounded by empty oceans. Nice, but in the long run a bit boring. Here and there you see some off-sim rocks and waves. Our newest products convert the ocean surrounding an island region into an archipelago of small islands. We als have reefs and crashing ocean waves to go with them. Below you can see four versions of the small islands set. You can always combine them with your other off-sim landscape elements, they often go together very well. Visit the Landscapes Unlimited sim where you can rez all sim surround landscapes.

After several months of work I've finally finished the first six landscapes of a completely new type. I call them Solid Sky Landscapes. Peaky Islands Solid Sky Landcsape These sky landscapes are perfect for easily creating an additional level high above ground level, with a naturally shaped solid surface that almost looks like regular sim land. New release: the Summer mirror box (cubic and rectangular)

Today I'm releasing a new mirror box with 50 new non-Winter scenes. This mirror box is available in a cubic end a rectangular shape. For creating the scenes (all done inside Second Life, using my own creations) I've mostly used my latest Mega sim surrounds as a backdrop: Alpine Ridge, Mount Fuji, Cuesta Galore and Tarn Valley. There are Spring, Summer and Autumn scenes. Most are daytime and sunset scenes, and some are nighttime scenes. Just go through them to see what you like. These new Summer boxes make use of Experience tools to automatically let you and your friends enjoy environment settings that match the current scene. You should switch this feature on in the Options menu of the mirror box, allow the "Mirror and Backdrop Box Environment Settings" on your land/region and you should enable the Use Shared Environment option in your viewer.  When you click through all scenes your settings will change accordingly. Introducing: The Mirror Box

Time for some true innovation in Second Life! Today I'm introducing a completely new version of an already existing kind of item in SL: a skybox made of flat screens, and I'm calling it The Mirror Box. Reflections, even at low graphics settings As far as I can tell, two aspects are completely different from what's currently on the market: The pictures for the screens were all taken in Second Life itself. You can see Second Life skies and clouds on them, and the landscapes you see are also images of 3D landscapes of Landscapes Unlimited in SL; Halfway in the box is an animated water texture. Below it, the box is textured in a way that makes it appear as if the water completely and naturally reflects the sky and landscape images. Because this mirror effect of the water is so striking and convicing, I'm calling the box The Mirror Box.
